Charge To The Sons Of Confederate Veterans

"To you Sons of Confederate Veterans, we will commit the vindication of the cause for which we fought. To your strength we will be given the defense of the confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those princilples which he loved and which you love also, and those ideals which made him glorious and which you also cherish."

~Lt. Gen Stephen Dill Lee, Commander General, United Confederate Veterans, New Orleans, Lousiana, April 25, 1906~

 SCV What?

Hello Everyone. We  made this site for the SONS OF COFEDERATE VETERANS Camp #1966 (2nd Lt. Reese Clark Craven) Randolph County NC. You all are probably asking about the title SCV...What? It is sad to know that there are still a lot of people  who thinks that the Sons of Confederate Veterans members or the confederation itself are a group of hateful or worse racist people.

The confederacy is commited to preserving, protecting and honoring our ancestors who fought for what they believed in. A belief that a lot of people mistakenly  believed to be all about skin color, for it all started the war.

I think it's about time for our younger generation to be well informed and  educated on the Southern Heritage. Everyone should remember that Southern Heritage is not something for us to forget. . . instead lets all be proud  that we are Southerners.
